It shall be the duty of the Executive Board to exercise general supervision and control of the invested funds and property of the Local.  It shall have the authority to act in the name of the Local during intervals between meetings, such acts being subject to confirmation by the membership at the next regular meeting of the Local. 

The Occupational Health and Safety Committee is responsible for researching, investigating and bringing forth to the employer, membership health and safety concerns. The members of the committee are also responsible for keeping up-to-date on the many health and safety related issues occurring in the fire service both provincially and nationally.

The WSIB committee is responsible for membership education regarding occupational exposures, occupational diseases and Workplace Safety Insurance Board claims. As well the WSIB committee represents those IAFF3691 members (active and retired) during the WSIB claim process.
